More Than Running
I started running casually and eventually turned it into a pursuit of growth both on and off the race course. Running has taught me discipline, consistency, and how to balance ambitious goals alongside career and family life.
Today I help busy parents and professionals pursue meaningful running goals through structured, sustainable coaching.
My Philosophy
Running is not just about miles. Real progress comes from consistency, recovery, nutrition, strength work, and building habits that support long term success.
I believe training should improve your life, not consume it.
Consistency over intensity
Long term thinking
Flexible, disciplined training
Strength and recovery matter
Running should fit real life

What Athletes Are Saying
I enlisted Wes’s help to run my first half-marathon in October 2025. While I had baseline athleticism, for the sake of the race I was essentially starting from the couch. After discussing my training timeline and what my goals were for the race, he set up a progressive training plan up until race day. It started with baseline mileage, the minimum I’d need to be able to do weekly in order to kickoff the 12 week training program, and then went into weekly mileage targets. As the training program went on we discussed training methods, such as the use of track workouts, long runs, tempo runs, as well as easy runs to keep my legs fresh. Even though I had always viewed running as a “punishment” in the other sports I had played, I genuinely started to enjoy running and even looked forward to my 6-8 mile runs each week. While I probably could have found a cookie cutter program for the mileage each week, that’s not necessarily where I found the added benefit of Wes’s coaching. Where I really found the benefit was being able to ask him questions about the strategy of the different runs: was it better to increase mileage at a certain point or increase pace, how should I structure certain runs, alterations to the plan to account for an injury I was working through, questions on the mechanics of running in general etc. Being able to pick his brain on these topics saved me a lot of time because I didn’t have to dig through forums to figure it out or just guess as to what the best method was. He was also incredibly supportive throughout the training process, constantly asking how I felt on the runs, congratulating me when i had great stats on a run or in general felt great after a run (bc stats aren’t necessarily everything), wanting to understand how I felt after tough runs and maybe what I thought I could do differently. Just an overall great person to have in my corner throughout this process which was pretty new to me.
